the bamboo blanket feels absolutely amazing against the skin and is super breathable. When they say it feels like a hug, it’s no lie. Thinking about pairing this with a body pillow and staying single.

Heads up: I ordered the dark grey and it turned out to have more of a blue-ish tint than gray, so the decor is now a bit off.

This is my first weighted blanket, and I can truly say it helps with emotional comfort. I washed it on the delicate cycle before using it, and hung it outside to dry: no problems. I adhered to the “10% of your body weight” recommendation and rounded up; but, like other reviewers, I wish I had gotten a heavier one.

I waited a few months before doing a review on this blanket. I have to say I am impressed. I live in Florida and I don’t wake up sweating with this blanket. I also fall asleep quickly and stay asleep. I wake up feeling rested and refreshed.

One thing that I did notice is that this does not have glass beads as stated in the description. This blanket has sand or something similar to sand, that’s the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars. Truth in advertising is important.

I really liked this at first but I’m getting a little frustrated because it doesn’t stay in the duvet cover very well even when you tie it to the corner etc. It eventually comes loose and the blanket part just scrunches up towards the bottom and ends up all lumpy. It isn’t staying evenly distributed at all. Seems like all the beads are heading towards the end of the blanket and a heavy blanket like this is a pain to work with to get it even again.

This is a great idea and seems to improve sleep, but sadly the square pockets are not sewn well and the beads migrate to the edges (which hang over the sides of the bed). The size says queen, but in NO WAY will it truly fit a typical queen bed corner to corner.
