Marc Kraft – Creator of Mindful Searching

Marc KraftI’ve struggled with Social Anxiety for many years. I also have hyperhidrosis, a condition that makes you sweat (a lot). The type I have is known as Palmer Hyperhidrosis which makes your hands and feet sweat more than normal.

This is where it all started.

I feared meeting anyone new and social situations where a handshake is required. I had the fear of giving a clammy, sweaty handshake. This fear made my hands sweat more, creating an unpleasant cycle.

This sweating related fear evolved as I found ways to minimize the sweating. But, I was left with panic attacks and unwarranted fear in social settings. Even when the sweating was under control, my anxiety continued.

Presenting in front of a group or being the center of attention at a party terrified me. Sometimes it still does.

I quickly decided this isn’t a way to live. I began reading and learning everything possible to reduce my anxiety symptoms.

I saw my doctor (even tried medication for a while), talked to a therapist, changed my diet, took supplements, exercised, and more. Some of it helped, some didn’t.

Over the last 5 years, I found a handful of things that greatly reduce my stress and anxiety. Everything you read on this website is the output of my journey (and outside contributors) of building a happier, healthier, stress-free life.

You’ll learn about my favorite supplements, morning routines, my love/hate relationship with coffee, and more.
